Bringing a 30 Year Old Festival Back to Life with Beautiful Content

The Ottawa Wine & Food Festival achieved its most digitally successful run in 30 years. This was accomplished by developing a multi-platform digital strategy that focused on increasing ticket sales and raising event visibility through influencers.

A targeted group of over 30 Ottawa based influencers in the food & drink, lifestyle, fashion, university and Instagram markets supported the marketing and promotional endeavours of the festival.

By liaising with vendors, brands, and stakeholders prior to the event, we were able to create original, on-brand digital content for multiple platforms supported by digital ads.

The success of this campaign was measured by 1.2 million digital impressions on social channels owned by The Ottawa Wine & Food Festival over the course of the contract. This work also contributed to triple digit increases in community and engagement metrics on these same social media channels.
